Mission

Tanjí was founded to pay homage to the people, places and ideas that inspire us. Our founder, LT., is a historical filmmaker and amateur archaeologist that derives inspiration from the enchanted entrances of the Etruscan tombs to the glimmering shores of Zanzibar. Our design aesthetic is based on the ancient merchant circumnavigating the African continent in a traditional dhow boat. What you will now experience is a selection of creations that are not only made to honour magical destinations but the artisans that construct their essence.
